Entrepreneurs help entrepreneurs
To be able to do business successfully in the hospitality industry, a number of ingredients are necessary. A good team, an appealing concept, an intended property, the market and solid trust. If you have all that but no funding, you won't get your business off the ground. In this article, we take you into the honest story of hospitality entrepreneur Berry ten Bergen. In 6 months, together with his wife and team, he opened the Burgundian eatery De Basiliek in Middelburg.
“The great thing about Briqwise is that (former) entrepreneurs help entrepreneurs. One wants a return on their assets, the other needs financing to achieve growth. Entrepreneurs simply understand better how it works, as our cooperation with Briqwise shows.”
Enjoy
The fact that the Zeelanders are widely known for their frugality is nothing new; the new company by Berry and his wife Thamara shows that they are also friendly and hospitable. The Burgundian eatery De Basiliek is fast becoming the coziest living room in Middelburg. Only a few more weeks left, and guests are pouring in. A good lunch, a nice drink at the end of the working day, and finally, a good steak, fresh prawns or a stew. The guests are already coming back often.
The atmosphere is friendly, hospitable and cozy, exactly what Berry had wanted for years.
His wife and business partner Thamara welcomes the guests; it's no coincidence that she was once a Defence Connector.
